Welcome baby Logan!

Baby Logan was born on January 13, so he is only one week old today. He was still really scrunchy and squishy - the perfect age for a newborn photo session! Logan is lucky enough to have a big brother to teach him the ropes. Congratulations to Logan's family, what a blessing he is!

Welcome baby Charlie!

Charlie was born January 3, and he is so precious. I love the colors and textures on this little outfit he wore today - it was his coming home outfit, so it's particularly meaningful. Amazingly, he didn't even fight the hat! I've seen many babies who simply can't stand hats, but little Charlie dealt with it quite well. Congratulations to Charlie's family, and enjoy your new little one.

Happy Birthday Braylon!

Isn't Braylon a cutie? He's one year old and looks like he can't wait to get into mischief. It's hard to believe that it's been a year since I took his newborn photos, but time has a way of flying when there are little ones around. Happy birthday, Braylon - and may you have your fill of cake for many years to come.

This couple is celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this weekend. I can only imagine the memories you share when you've been married for so long! It's certainly a blessing to be able to share your life with someone you love just as much as the day you married them. I wish them many more years of wedded bliss, and enjoy your special day.

Girl Scout cookies are here!

It's that time of year again...Girl Scout cookie time!

Cookies are $4 per box. This year's flavors are Lemon Chalet Creams, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, All Abouts, Sugar Free Chocolate Chip, Tagalongs and Thin Mints. Most of them are classic flavors, but there are three new flavors.

The lemon chalet creams are vanilla sandwich cookies with a hint of cinnamon-ginger spice and a lemon creme filling. The All Abouts are vanilla cookies with a fudge coating. The sugar-free chocolate chip cookies are just what you'd expect, minus the sugar.

Now that the holiday season is over, I finally have a chance to sit down and take a breather. I know I got behind with posting sneak peeks to the blog, but December was really a crazy month. Maybe it's a good resolution to get the blog updated more frequently!

This was the first session in 2008. This little girl has grown so much since I saw her for her newborn session. Now she's excited to play with her toes, and what a sweet little face she has. She was so cooperative for most of her session, so that's a very nice way to start off 2008.
